The Physio-Zen Fellowship
Restore Function. Reclaim Purpose. Serve Better.
The Physio-Zen Fellowship is an immersive, science-based workforce well-being and human performance experience created for organizations, hospitals, and teams. Through lifestyle medicine, movement, pain neuroscience, nervous system regulation, mindset, reflection, and practical behavior change, participants develop tools to improve resilience, health, performance, and long-term well-being.

The Physio-Zen Fellowship
Foundation → Immersion → Integration
1. The Foundation — 6 Weeks Online
Participants meet once a week for 90 minutes in a live online session over six weeks. This phase focuses on lifestyle medicine, self-assessment, movement, nutrition, personal goals, and mindset—building the foundation for the immersive experience ahead.
2. The Immersion — 1 Week - 6days at a Destination
Participants come together in person for a one-week destination experience centered on the deeper work of the Fellowship: body, mind, reflection, connection, and transformation.
2b. Optional 3-day extension to a nearby city or destination with the Fellowship instruction team — a relaxed, curated escape with no formal programming, perfect for decompressing and simply enjoying the experience and each other.
3. The Integration — Final Online Session
The Fellowship concludes with a final live online session, 3 weeks post-event, focused on integrating what was learned and experienced, strengthening relationships, lasting habits and decisions, and completing a personal road map for moving forward.

We use Travel as Medicine
Each site is not chosen for tourism alone, but for its capacity to support the specific intellectual, clinical, and contemplative work of that retreat. Environment matters. Place shapes perspective.
Travel…
-
Interrupts habitual stress patterns by stepping away from familiar environments that reinforce pain, burnout, and over-functioning
-
Creates psychological safety through distance from daily roles, responsibilities, and expectations—allowing the nervous system to soften rather than stay on high alert
-
Awakens curiosity and wonder, natural regulators that help quiet threat and pain pathways
-
Expands sensory, emotional, and cognitive experience, restoring perspective and fresh clarity
-
Supports nervous system flexibility, creating the conditions for new patterns of regulation, resilience, and meaning to emerge

Each Physio-Zen Fellowship destination is intentionally different. Some are intimate, high-end settings designed for executive groups of 10–15, while others can accommodate larger organizational cohorts of up to 60. The experience changes with the place: Florida offers a more spiritually grounded journey in the presence of a living guru; California draws on the restorative power of the redwoods; Italy brings art, architecture, and sculpture gardens into the experience; Scotland is shaped by heritage, history, and private-estate culture; France adds the sensory richness of food, place, and tradition; and our island destinations use the power of the ocean, warm water, and some of the world’s most beautiful beaches to create space for renewal, connection, and perspective.
